Events: JISC CETIS Conference 2007Beyond Standards - Holistic Approaches to Educational Technology and Interoperability
Note: This event is by invitation only
Date: 20 Nov 2007
- 21 Nov 2007
Agenda: http://wiki.cetis.ac.uk/Conference_2007_Programme
Contact: Paul Hollins Location: Lakeside Conference Centre, Aston This will be the fourth JISC CETIS Conference, a highly participative two day event where we need your contributions to reflect on the developments of the previous year and to frame the interventions needed to realise the information systems for teaching and learning of 2012. We aim to stimulate technological experimentation that could lead to innovative systems; to operate at the point of informed speculation; to anticipate the 'innovative practice' of the future rather than focus on the 'best practice' with the technologies of today. The conference dinner will be at the conference centre starting at 8.30pm with a bar from 8.00pm where purchases can be made. The dinner will consist of three courses: plated starters and desserts with a buffet-style main meal. This will be free but must be opted into. The conference is free to attend; however, a 'No show' fee of £100 per delegate will be charged for non-attendance. No-shows for the dinner will be charged £30. Session choices made here are not binding - movement will be free. See the programme for details of the sessions Problems registering? Please contact David Sherlock |
