E-portfolios are generally accepted to be selections of information purposefully presented to chosen audiences, but there are many e-portfolio and related tools that manage parts of the information, and several purposes for collecting, selecting, reflecting on and presenting that information, about yourself, what you have done, what you can do, what you have made, created or been responsible for. The focus of this topic is therefore the activities, practices and tools through which that kind of information is created, used, reflected on, or presented. We have led the creation of a community-developed specification, Leap2A, and anything about that specification, its development, extension or relationships are appropriate for this topic. JISC host a Briefing Paper on Leap2A. Naturally, this topic relates closely to JISC's area of interest in "e-Portfolios". There has always been a strong portfolio thread in JISC's e-Learning programme, as there is now in the Lifelong learning part of the Institutional Innovation programme. Articles
